What a Mess!

I started out planning to mock the woman who set fire to an entire apartment building simply because she “suspected” her estranged husband was sleeping there. You’d think, even if you are crazy enough to set fire to a building, you would at least get visual confirmation that your estranged husband is actually there. But alas, I was distracted by the oddly written headline “Woman Admits Winsted Arson to Smoke Out Husband” and this sentence:

Police say Quigley was apparently seeking revenge after learning her estranged husband had been having an affair without someone at the apartment building on Greenwoods Avenue.

This is the internet people, you don’t have to worry about space constraints. Toss in another word and help that headline make a little sense. Maybe The Courant could benefit from a wiki-like interface where users can make changes…or at least suggest changes.
